Thrive! Healthy People • Healthy Planet Exhibition

Thrive! is a curated photography exhibit featuring striking photos that encourage reflection on nine Essentials for Health: Air, Water, Food, Shelter, Energy, Community, Safety, Biodiversity, and Purpose. The exhibition raises awareness of the close relationship between human wellbeing and the natural world.

The original exhibition was presented at the Gifts of Art, Taubman South Gallery, Michigan Medicine, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in the summer of 2023.

In 2024, Mutual Reawakening, the organization responsible for the exhibition, received requests from interested potential venues, and they needed a lightweight and flexible way to display the content. A banner version was designed to meet this need. The new format makes the exhibition more accessible to venues of various sizes and capacities.

On Earth Day, April 22, 2025, the lightweight banner version of Thrive! was premiered at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, USA. The Earth Day timing was meaningful as we brought our message about the “Essentials for Health” to this major medical institution.
