A blessed life.
All my life, I have learned from Nature. I am happiest when near Water, Trees, Stones, greeting the First Light of Day, or absorbing the Stars of the Night Sky. I see all of Creation and the Beings around us as powerful Teachers. We humans are not separate from Nature, and have much to learn.
Growing up in a military family, I had the opportunity to experience a variety of places, people, and cultures. Today, I live in Wēskōhsek, the original Menominee name for Wisconsin, meaning ‘a good place to live’. Central Wisconsin is the homeland of the Menominee, Ho-Chunk, Ojibway, and Chippewa Peoples. While I am descended from Norwegian, German, French, Scottish, Irish, English, and mixed Europeans, the Woodlands of the Western Great Lakes region is my adopted home.
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband, two sweet, crazy kitties, a fun and loving family, an extended family of kindred spirits, and a few dear friends. Every day, I learn something new about being Human and finding Balance and Purpose in Life.
